Updated May 22, 2018 2:19pm PDT The Rams running back duo of Sam Bradford and Todd Gurle led the Rams to a 101-yard, five-touchdown performance against the Indianapolis Colts, running for 100 yards on 20 carries.
The Rams had an offensive line that was solid against Indianapolis, allowing only three sacks, but a lack of playmaking ability led to some early turnovers.
Bradford and Gurle combined for 1,024 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns.
Bradford had his second-best rushing day of the season with 981 yards and a touchdown, while Gurle had his third-best with 1,009 yards and five touchdowns.
The two will likely have a hard time keeping pace with the two other backs on the roster in Matt Forte and Jared Goff, but both have been solid in their respective roles.
Gurley had his best game of the year against the Colts, rushing for 103 yards on 16 carries.
Bradford has had a slow start to the season, but he has played well in the first three games.
He’s averaging 7.6 yards per carry and rushing for more than 300 yards in three of the four games.
If the Rams can continue to get Gurley the ball, he should continue to carry the load in this offense.
